Predicted revenue streams
Although the priority of the VerseX team is first and foremost to provide a revolutionary online experience in a brand-new virtual world, unavoidably these features come with costs, and therefore fair monetisation has been considered for each aspect of VerseX. Please note that at the time of writing, the uncertainty around future expenses is high and therefore the fees proposed in this whitepaper may not be final and may be subject to revisions either upwards or downwards.
VX Mall:
Sales Fees - 2-3% on $XVR transactions, 5% on all other currencies depending on contracts with vendors & partners.
Service Charge - Service Charge will be dependent on VerseX server running costs divided by the number of rented SQM inside the mall. Current SQM value on the open market will determine the rent. The rent will be paid by above mentioned sales fees & the sales fees will automatically go to the lower end of % once the rent amount has been surpassed & paid.
Advertisement: There will be special Ad opportunities for partners & other users. These are owned by VerseX and will generate direct revenue.
NFT Sales:
NFT Minting Rounds - As the VerseX user base grows, numerous NFT minting Seasons will be undertaken in order to sell limited edition in-game characters. These characters will be unique mints and will provide additional utility within the overall VerseX world.As VerseX develops over time, additional utility and perks will be added, and may vary between particular mints.
NFT Marketplace - The NFT Marketplace will be used for the sale of primary and secondary in-game assets.
Land - Virtual real-estate will be available for users to purchase in the future.
Customisations
Character - Users will be able to enter a customisation menu inside their character page in-game, here, users will have access to some free customisations and some low-cost customisations such as textures, colours schemes & skins. In addition, users will be able to customise their own NFTโs appearance in-game & even change the characters voice.
Vehicles - Users will be able to customise their NFT vehicles once they enter the game. The cost of skins, colour schemes, liveries, exhausts, spoilers and other aerodynamic parts will range from low to medium.
Player apartments - Users will have access to customisation menus inside their homes. Here, users will have the option of customising their textures, colour schemes, and some simple items such as wooden railings instead of metal railings or marble floors instead of wood.
VerseX will charge small amounts of $XVR for certain transactions amongst the land.
Events Arena:Ticket Sales - VerseX will generate income from primary and secondary ticket sales from concerts and live events.
Merchandise Sales - Festival wear is always a must, after watching your favourite artist, you can grab some merchandise to support them further.
Arena Rental - Users and brands can rent the VX Arena from VerseX at our digression.
Advertisements - Users, and brands can promote their products and businesses to a wide audience for a cost.
Sponsorships - VerseX will look for a big-name sponsor to sponsor the VX Arena.
University:
Learning and working from home has been widely embraced by the world in recent times. VerseX plans to partner with universities throughout the world to enable users access to fantastic independent education in an immersive virtual reality setting which provides the student with a much better educational experience through real-time interaction with their peers as well as their teachers.
Sales Fee - VerseX will extract a small Sales Fee from the partnered Universities to ensure we can maintain the environment, staff and courses.
VerseX will have their own virtual store where users can purchase anything from the VerseX Collection, in-addition to the VerseX NFT Marketplace which will take a percentage of all in-game NFT transactions. Proceeds from sales here will be a direct revenue stream for VerseX.
Amusement Park, Movie theatre & Museum:
Admission & Sales Fee - VerseX will extract a sales fee from all ticket and merchandise sales within these areas.
Royalties:
Secondary Sales - VerseX will earn royalties between 5-10% made on secondary sales.
